In a large sense, you're preaching to the choir.

At the same time, I don't think you need to be a speed freak or an auto
buff to get to the point that you really prefer something better than a
Model A Ford. That's what we're talking about here, wrt second or third
TV sets in the house.

Second and third sets are going to be flat panel sets too, with
relatively dense pixel structures, and NTSC or grainy SDTV just won't do
them justice anymore. People get used to a good image on their bigger
TV, and expect something of similar quality in all their TVs, even if
smaller.

I think that progression is completely to be expected. It wasn't long
ago that Craig was doubting that LCD screens would be such a huge hit.
And he's hanging on to this long-held disbelief in HDTV. Yet, the
handwriting has been on the wall for a very long time.
