Oh, pshaw, John. That was only a figure thrown out by axe grinders. Other figures thrown out were closer to $5 to $15, but far more importantly, the point was made that the various 8-VSB patent holders were coming to agreements among one another.

Whatever the number is, it will affect, if anything, only the ultimate price of the very cheapest of small throw-about receivers, which I have yet to see in digital livery.
