It sounds like you put your ANTENNA where it's needed, not your TV.  As 
I pointed out, my engineering background led me to move antennas 
around.  I've seen civilians orient, extend, and even hang foil on their 
rabbit ears, but I've never seen anyone move them from the top of the set.
