Having announced my delight with the 5th-generation LG-prototype in the
summer of 2004 (at least 18 months after it was first publicly
demonstrated), I clearly eagerly await those new boxes. The boxes that
have been tested here since then have not worked as well. So far, the
LG prototype remains the only one to function with a set-top antenna of
any sort in any orientation. Meanwhile, my set-top rabbit ears continue
to work fine for NTSC reception.
