I imagine if you picked up a key at some point, but did not remember where you got it (maybe you had a few days between playing the book) you might not know which you had in your possession. I would probably just say "Mark this on your Action Chart as 'Silver Key from Kalte'" - and make a similar statement to clarify the other key in this book.
We could disambiguate by altering this item to "Kalte Silver Key" In Book 3 Sections 3 and 303, but I don't know if we should. :-/ Additionally, at no point are you told to remove the (Varetta) Silver Key from your Action Chart (Book 6 Section 200). Jon, do you have any thoughts on whether we should alter anything, or if we should just leave this alone? Benjamin I Krefetz wrote:
Ok. I stand corrected. It is theoretically possible that you get to section135, have exactly one GC, decide to give it to the woman, demand an explanation from the man, continue talking to him, and accept his offer to meet the captain.Maybe the solution is to change the first choice at 135 to something like "If you have at least 2 Gold Crowns and wish to stop..." ? Of course, there's no rational in-story explanation for why LW would only want to stop if he has at least 2 GC, but it does resolve the issue :)
That is certainly a possibility, though as you say, it seems to bestow a strange level of prescience upon Lone Wolf. We could always footnote this option with "For gameplay purposes, you may only choose to stop if you have at least 2 Gold Crowns." Again, I'll escalate this to Jon for a final decision. -- Simon Osborne Project Aon ~~~~~~ Manage your subscription at http://www.freelists.org/list/projectaon
