Hi All,

I can confirm that the DMC costs £859 including delivery. DVD and remote are extra (£89 and 39 respectively).

As a totally blind person, the lack of picture obviously doesn't worry me.

What I find extremely useful if the 7 day electronic programme gide, which gives you all details of programme length, synopsis and if it is audio described. If the programme takes your fancy, then you hit the record key and it will be done! It can record up to 10 hours of radio or TV programmes including audio description. one neat facility is when you hit the star or info key, if will read out details of the programme you might have switched to half way through. The hash or next key gives you details of the programme that follows.

I also enjoy the fact that I have all my audio in one place, though being aware that if one component goes...!!

A lot of money - yes, but I'm a happy bunny!

Ray

Thanks to everyone who's come back on this with some sort of price. I'm trying to get to Sight Village this year as this is one of the things I want to look at. I'm not bothered about picture because no one would be quote watching unquote it except me. If that is the price, it looks pretty interesting.

Cheers,
Sandra.
