Maybe Brian Hartgen will come back again to confirm or otherwise my suspician that what's being refered to is a production model of the sound only Freeview receiver and DVD player that was shown in prototype last year at Sight Village. If I'm right on this I can say it was impressive as the designer had cracked the problem of accessing digital teletext. I said then that, as impressed as I was, I felt it was a pity it was sound only, but then its following in the footsteps of the old teletext receiver and will appeal to blind only households, particularly those who don't even want to fork out thesixty quid or so licence fee. I said I hoped that when the sound only version had been seen into production that the company would turn their attention to afull TV Freeview box with all the present features plus actually being able to watch TV. After all, their are many, well more, VI people with some sight who want to watch the telly but want the features of this box too. Having siad all of this, hope I'm not barking up the wrong tree.
