I believe it was OTS Jupertet tankage. von Braun was a master of
reutilizing existing hardware including the H-1 LOx/RP-1 engine which was
uprated from 165KLbF to 188KLbF. No loss of vehicle or mission failures.

More accurately, existing engines fed by a bundle of new tanks that
could be made with existing tooling.
