I Disagree on that. Installation in windows is a breeze, mainly because
most of the installation files are static builds. Whereas, in Linux,
there quite a lot of dependencies for every installation. This is indeed
a good feature resulting in re usability of code. However, Manually
resolving the dependencies is a short cut to hell :-)
IIRC IIS has a graphical configuration. Apache has cryptic text files
for configuration. I remember a thread on /. which ranted about apache's
cryptic configuration. Of course this is more of a head ache to the sys
admins. For my basic needs, apache works well out of the box.
