Anyway, I had this friend of mine who bought a new computer some time
back..He was a totally new computer user, kinda like a computerphobic
guy. I gave him the complete debian set and installed it for him. He
loved it, especially the clean gnome ui. He loved the idea that
synaptic is listing all the possible packages. What could be more
intuitive than synaptic or aptitude or kuroo displaying all the 15k+
packages grouped in different categories. Declaring Linux and *BSDs to
be too geeky just because we are lazy to type a 3 word command in a
terminal to install a software isnt fair. My only gripe is that Linux and
*BSDs needs internet to rock, But once it gets it, it is blissful :)
