Of course not, geeks might choose power when it's an either-or choice.
But that's just because the same geeks are not competent/interested
enough in building things that are both. :)

ease of use != gui interface

True, but a clean GUI interface for configuring systems/applications
really scores over CLI.

Compare 'vi /etc/X11/xorg.conf' to system-config-display (FC's X
configuration script).
