In my opinion even if u reach the students, the same thing as of staff
applies to them too. only those who are interested will learn it. others
will be trying only to get the minimum pass marks. I think if u really want
the staff members to learn a little atleast in the syllabus completion
perspective, contact their Head of departments and offer them to conduct
training sessions for their staff members. this training may be based on
the syllabus. this is what i think will help u avoid the situation. but if
u want the staff members to be experts or something similar to that, i hope
u will most probably fail.
Being a staff member, my feedback on the comments that are made in this
mailing list. It is not necessary that a staff should know everything. In
my experience i have seen that the intelligent always goes to the industry
sector. then how do expect the staff to be very bright and know everything.
The same question can be directed on you. if you want very brilliant staff
members, why didnt u study well and go to IIT or any other premier
institutes. Also students always want experienced faculty to teach them.
what if no companies recruit freshers? what will be the situation then. I
agree that the staff members are not up to the mark to feed the needs of
the students. But this does not rest with the individual person alone.
