Sorry, no announcement yet! Apple did announce a lot of hardware
yesterday and important updates to the iBook and Author apps. They are
now heavily pushing the new iPad mini for use in Schools for students of
all ages. Everyone expected iTunes 11 to be announced because last
month they said it would be released in October and this is the only big
Appple big event for a while. I guess rewriting iTunes is more
difficult than they thought and it is not ready yet. Maybe they needed
the Windows 8 Visual Studio developers tools and they are not one of the
few developers granted the priveledge of getting them before Windows 8
is announced on the 26th.
When it comes to announcements from Apple, secrecy is paramount! I will
keep my ears open.
