Apples and oranges, Bob.

This delay is NOT caused by 8-VSB. This delay is caused by only one main
factor, and that factor would still apply even if we had DVB-T:

Making the transition happen, countrywide, in the blink of an eye.

My advice to the FCC is to take this request for a delay as an
opportunity to reschedule how the transition should be made. Doing it in
one fell swoop, no matter what the date, will create the same sort of
hand wringing and last minute stage frights.
