One of my brothers has a Hitachi RP-DLP, and it just doesn't seem as sharp to me as a smaller HDTV display. Next time I'm in Gainesville (Florida is one of the few states I have yet to visit), maybe I'll drop in and see how yours looks to me. The problem could be that my brother is a cable victim. I've tried to tune in OTA channels from his house, but he only gets KUSI, and that breaks up. (Terrain intervenes; this isn't a modulation issue, as he gets no analog FSTV over the air.)
