If an integrated TV costs $400 at the time of the cut-off, that's almost two years of service for the price of a new TV. Nobody knows for certain what's going to happen. There is, however, one thing that we can be reasonably certain of: the share of U.S. homes that will rely exclusively upon OTA DTV reception is not likely to grow when the NTSC service is shut down.
