[opendtv] Why aren't there more converter boxes?

I'm surprised that any one of the major ownership groups has gone out and branded a Set-Top Box for general public distribution. WRAL-TV gave away antennae to early adopters. STB's are in the $150 range now (retail).

Imagine offering FREE HDTV viewing and having your brand in everyone's home.

I hope somebody will.
