Right!

Been slowly working through these. See the bottom of this mail for what we have
left.

**I just want definite confirmation on this one, and how it affects Book 1.

I see this as slightly different because the Durncrag range is also
referred to as the Durncrags. The Masourn range is never referred to
as the Masourns. So Durncrag can be a noun whereas Masourn seems to be
an adjective. Therefore "the Masourn" doesn't make sense because it's
not a noun. Am I making sense? :)

Sort of. Consider it fixed here only! ;-)

(er)    163, 196, 256:  orphaned section [LM]
[LM: Maybe link 115 ->    163 instead of 341.]

OK, but we need to change the 8 EP loss to 4.
**Fixed all these except making the EP loss change. I don't think it needs
changing.

Just verifying my recollection as I read through that the 4 EP loss is
still accessible if you have a particular Discipline. If so, OK.

If you sensibly use Kai-alchemy, you will not incur the 8-point penalty.
Rejected.

- It would be great if the table(s) was/were centered horizontally.
- There should be a bit space between the table(s) and the navigation
bar.
**Er . . . how do I do that? I'm really not an xml expert! If we can do it,
let's do it. ;-)

OK, I've made some extensive changes to xhtml.xsl, so everyone please
keep your eye out for wonkiness. In the update I've...

* added a "maintext" div that allows special styles to be applied to
the the main body of the text without affecting the framing stuff on
the page
* added a 2ex bottom margin to tables in the maintext and footnote divs
* added an align="center" to all tables in those same places
* while I was messing around in there, I removed the table on the
navigation bar (i.e. Previous, Table of Contents, Next) as per the
accessibility suggestions that we received

Thanks for this! :-)

dedication: It might be nice to footnote who Aung San Suu Kyi is.
**Feel free to go ahead. ;-)

Eh, yes I suppose that's fair. :)

equipment: "record them on your Weapons List." And on the Special Items
list?

"Weapons List" is inaccurate to begin with, since the Quiver and Arrows
are recorded in the same miscellaneous section with Belt Pouch and Meals.
Maybe change to "record them on your Action Chart"?
**Should we change this from "Weapons List" to "Action Chart" in Books 6-28?

Sounds good to me. :)

Actually only affects 13-28. Fixed in all.

equipment: "then you may add the higher bonus to your COMBAT SKILL."
Footnote: "These bonuses are not cumulative."
**Isn't this explained in the example immediately below this?

~~~~~
If you were to use ‘Illuminatus’ in combat against an enemy in an
underground cavern, cave, or tunnel, you could add the higher bonus of
7 to your COMBAT SKILL. If you were to fight this enemy in any other
location, the bonus to your COMBAT SKILL would remain at 5.
~~~~~

I guess it all hinges on the reader comprehending that the "higher
bonus of 7" is a comparison between to separate bonuses. I don't think
a footnote to make that clear would hurt.

OK, added to Books 21-28.

REMAINING ISSUES <http://www.projectaon.org/en/Errata/VoyageOfTheMoonstone>:

(er) Grand Master Disciplines: "you are skilled in the use of one of the weapons listed in the Equipment section." Are you _really_ limited to Quarterstaff, Bow, Dagger, Sword, or Axe? [so: How should this be re-worded?]
(er) 36, 105: master Kai -> Master Kai
(er)    61:     master journeyman -> Master [J]ourneyman
(er) 61: journeyman -> Journeyman [jb] [so: Only these, or other
occurrences of 'journeyman' as well?]
(er)    142 [x2], 152, 219, 282, 323:   mhaktis [foreign
xml:lang="x-vassagonian"?]
(er) 165: he says -> Fernant says / says Fernant [see the context]
(er) 175: chamber of the font -> Chamber of the Font
(er) 179: Grand Huntmastery and Telegnosis [<em>and</em> as per previous
books]
(er) 204: "Your weapon barely clears its scabbard..." yet in 177 in states "you raise your weapon in readiness to strike out...". Ideas other than truncating the first sentence to read "The creature is upon you."? [jb] [so: Maybe, "You barely have time to raise your weapon before the creature is upon you."] (er) 275: the great range -> the Great Masourn Range [??] [IK: This isn't referring to the Masourn Range.] [so: I see what you mean. Maybe: 'the great range' -> 'that great range'] (ne) All: The copyright at the bottom of the page references Trevor Newton as the illustrator. Should we remove/comment out this (c) information?
(ft) Dedication It might be nice to footnote who Aung San Suu Kyi is.

Phew! We're very slowly getting there . . . ;-)
