As near as I can tell, either variant is okay so - sorry - I think
they should be changed back even though I think "nerve-racking" makes
more sense to me given the definition of rack.
Personally, I always thought it was "nerve-wracking" as in, for example, "fever-wracked". Meh. It's been reverted in Books 21-23 so everything is back in order.
