or in this case its salts. It's found in citrus fruits, but in this
case would probably be of chemical manufacture. The deal is that if
you have, say, zinc acetate and sodium citrate both in a lozenge, when
they dissolve they'll both dissociate into ions and then the citrate
will bind the zinc.
