vb.net will give a user friendly feature

if you want user-friendly, point and click programming to do a  
project without really understanding what you are doing, VB.net is  
the best. There is nothing in the linux world like that. VB.net is  
meant for clueless morons mass producing third rate software without  
knowing what they are doing - and without caring about the final  
product.

If on the other hand you want to write standards compliant software,  
to understand what you are doing, to develop your skills in an all  
round way, come to the Free Software world. Choose a scripting  
language like python, learn the ins and outs - and then, use the GUI  
tools, understanding what they do.
