Can you explain the difference between Mono and dotgnu ?
Are they just two separate implementations of the .NET framework ?

dotgnu uses C# - mono doesnt. And there is also a big idealogical  
fight between the two groups. Basically the dotgnu group feels that  
Mono is property of Novell, and that it's restrictive acceptance of  
code contributions does not auger well for it to remain open source.
