because it is against the list rules. So why should he obey the list
rules? After all we are all for freedom, so why insist that posts be
trimmed, comments interleaved, foul language avoided, smsposts
avoided, crossposts avoided? For that matter why protest when a
person spits on the sidewalk - everyone does it? You, being a senior
member of the community are in a far better position than me to
answer this.
My personal opinion is that when one joins a community, one abides by
the rules of the community. If one does not agree with the rules,
there are only two choices:
1. abide by them and work to get them changed
2. leave and start your own community
Civil disobedience is not an option, because joining the community is
a voluntary act.
