[Ilugc] which linux brand teaches me linux better?

srs, this story, "srs and dselect", has become legendary on the ilugc
mailing list.
I feel you should give Debian another try before condemning it for life.
A lot has changed.... :)
OK guys - someone who does know and use debian on a regular scale, and
is near Adyar (Karra? Toufeeq?) come over to my place and help me
install it.
Heh. You, of all people, need no help to install Debian, man. The
only tip I can give you is - avoid dselect like the plague. You can
install debian without getting anywhere near it.
I like Debian not because of dselect, but inspite of it. I have made
two major upgrades first from potato -> woody and then from woody ->
Testing (distributed by PC Quest). Not a hitch ( Well, discounting a
hard disk crash in the interim) ... Now, what was that recommeded
upgrade path from FC1 again ? :-)
