Hmmm...that's a good point. It is rather self-conflicting.
Perhaps we could say that LW himself changed the hierarchy in the Kai
monastery, as a result of his experiences, wisdom and influx of new
understudies.
The upshot is there is a lot different from the beginning of LW's
training, and that of the New Order trainees...
