The problem with that is that the whole site domain (i.e. projectaon.org) will also be scaled to the same size, I think. So getting the table right to view might mean making the text on all other pages too large/too small.
Okay; that appears to work, but I was thinking more along the lines that in reverse (i.e. automatically sizing the text, etc based on the overall size of the table). If I get more free time later I'll try to thin down the file size (unless Tom jumps in at some point with a better alternative).
If you save the SVG from Inkscape as a Compressed Plain SVG (*.svgz) it comes out at about 18.1Kb, which should be fine. We already serve the flowcharts for the b ooks as svgz files, so the projectaon.org server can cope with that. (See this for example: <http://projectaon.org/staff/simon/Files/CombatResults-NO.svgz>)
