If you change the available width/height to 710/500 then the table is 
shown without scrollbars. Do we really want to compress the CRT to a 
width of 386 pixels? In the books the CRT spans two pages because one 
page is way to narrow for the full table. Also the old CRT was split 
over two PNGs. It would be no problem to do the same with the SVG.

... or by giving the CRT more space.


I do realize that giving the tables more space than 386 pixels might go 
against our vision for the layout of the web edition of Lone Wolf. So 
maybe we could link from a small SVG to a larger SVG as we do for the 
maps if the small SVG is not readable enough.

Why does this not surprise me?

People with low vision can easily increase the font size (e.g. with 
Ctrl+Plus in Firefox). The PNG might also be scaled, but I expect the 
scaled SVG to be much better readable than a scaled PNG.
