I am another happy user of the chip and pin cards, despite Lloyds-TSB best efforts to keep sending me chip and signature cards. It is far faster and simpler than trying to sign in the box, and I have not yet come across a keypad that was not laid out in the standard telephone manner. I find it annoying that when you lock out the pin by putting in the incorrect number, you need to go to a cashpoint machine and have someone unlock it for you. HSBC do not seem to be able to do this as the info is somehow stored on the card itself. It also took me four months to find out how to do it as HSBC didn't seem to know! hth, Mark Threadgold ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
