dont worry about them. I will - afaik, problems with Tamil are the
same as problems with other languages, and we need also, while
focussing on individual languages, solving common problems. My need
is simple. I like to think of myself as an Indian - so I would like a
common solution to these problems so that I dont have to keep
changing gears to deal with different languages.
please seperate each language, think about them independently, as they
exists in each state independently. that will help in bringing out a
solution for all..
a common solution is essential - with extras to deal with individual
quirks. I would hate for a plane taking off in Tamilnadu to crash
over Karntaka because the length of strings are calculated
differently in the two states ;-)
there are common areas, like the inscript keyboard. but in my opinion,
these need to caught and tried as exceptions. ;-)
inscript is very important - it means I can use the same keys to type
the same word in any Indic script.
