Since all Indian languages face the same problem (I dont know about
urdu and kashmiri), there is a need for a common solution.
while there are certainly common grounds between all these bharathiya
languages, i think solutions can be obtained if we think each one them
independently.
its really difficult for me to worry about the needs of hindi, kannada
etc., while i would certainly like the problems in them also getting
solved..
please seperate each language, think about them independently, as they
exists in each state independently. that will help in bringing out a
solution for all..
there are common areas, like the inscript keyboard. but in my opinion,
these need to caught and tried as exceptions. ;-)
disclaimer: i am not an language computing expert. just an observer so far.
