I'll be glad to see the new update. I use my GPS in motorized mode and the
problem I find is that destinations are announced long before we get to them. I
find that 5 to 10 minutes later is when we've actually arrived. The directions
given are great and I like using motorized mode when on paratransit or in a
cab. I sure can tell how off course para is and try to guide them in the right
direction! I just can't successfully search for pois. I'm told that pois I know
are within ten miles don't exist. That didn't seem to be a problem until after
the last upgrade! So, Mike, I'll be anxious to hear what the next upgrade has
to offer. I've not used pedestrian mode only because I don't have a safe
carrier for my cell phone so I generally use my Trekker Breeze. In any case, it
could be that geographically there might be better success in some locations
than in others.
