Some people may want to compare the two iphone and android. I WOULD've gotten an iphone when I first heard of it having accessibility, but sprint didn't have it and i wasn't interested in breaking my contract and am now a very happy droid user hardly ever touching my bn although it is a good back up so am hanging on to it should I need it.

I agree! Technology marches on! I think that these days, the blind
guetto note takers are a convenience, although, a mighty expensive one.
I am somewhat curious as to how folks who have all of the devices
mentioned below afford them. I work full time, and don't think I could.
And, why would someone have both an iPhone and an Android phone? I
guess you can have a lot if you are rich.

I have the best of all worlds. I have Sendero GPS on an Apex QT. I
have an Iphone with Sendero LookAround and other GPS apps that work
very well. I also have an Android phone with Sendero LookAround and
other GPS apps that work very well. I totally agree that there are
features on the Sendero Apex product that are worth paying money for.
worth paying more than I did for other paid apps on the phones frankly
My problem is that the Apex itself was definitely not worth paying
for. while that's not the topic of this list, it's important when
considering the total cost of GPS solutions. I thik the Sendero
products are the greatest. I'm worried about the platforms they've
chosen given where things are going. There is nothing that I do with
the Apex that I can't do better on some other device (with Braille on
the Iphone). So at some point I am likely to sell the Apex. And hence,
I'm very interested in Sendero building fully featured apps for other
platforms. And I'm OK about paying some amount more for them if they
bring all the features together that are now on the notetaker
versions. I know some people want it for nothing. I think it is a
specialized market etc. and am willing to pay for that. But it's got
to get off the notetakers in the foreseeable future. Just my two cents
worth on it.

Forgive the contradiction, but isn't that what intersection explorer

Can you (from IE) check out nearby things? I'd imagine you can't plan
a
route from within it, which is a feature that Sendero's GPS option
gives
you.

I must say that in my years of Sendero GPS usage, I hardly ever used
the
virtual mode. I may not be a representative user though.

Well, I think one thing he is referring to is a virtual mode or
sometimes
called browse mode.
