Yes, and had Microsoft come up with good accessibility standards, etc. and
stood by them including with their own software we would be a lot better off
now than the never ending battle for access to Windows that will never end.
So, if a developer wants the freedom to do things their way without following
Apple's rules they can go to Android, and be a sloppy developer and never have
to worry about being told that their work is inferior and the end user suffers
as a result.
Apply those same principals in a business and the company would go under
because their software developers would refuse to work together to come up with
applications that will allow the company to do the things they need to do.

Well, that can be a risk of any operating system, the best way to avoid that is
good old fashion common sense, granted, on IOS that's probably not as much of a
risk, but you're stuck having to do everything the way Apple wants, don't get
me wrong, I like both platforms, but for different reasons.
