I tend to take the view that the 45 seconds it takes the reader to figure this
out should be avoided.
If the label is there, they will understand immediately,
and once they understand, they will not be bothered by it being there.
During that 45 seconds is the classic time period on the Internets when your
reader decide to give up on something they donât immediately understand and go
and look at youtube videos of kittens instead.
