Contaminating Free Software with trademarks or other proprietary
images are unwarranted and none can claim it as a right. From a strict
point of view, RH could be seen as violating the GPL, but, taking into
view its other substantial and generous contributions, probably many
would take only a very light view of the practice.

The vast majority out there need basic support and buy it out of sheer
need, to save time, labour and for many other reasons.  I do not know
what understanding prevails in the US, but atleast here, "service
contracts" are very well understood and those desiring to earn revenue
through support, should seriously think of plainly marketing "Service
Contracts".  Eureka Forbes has done a good job of educating people
about service contracts for vacuum cleaners/water filters through door
to door campaigns, and the nuances of a service contract are very well
understood here.  The Indian market is vast, and the opportunities are
many - enough to feed many a Goose ;)
