AFAIK, the owner of Linux trademark has not imposed any conditions for
removing it while redistributing the kernel.  They do impose
restrictions, but I do not remember any of them having anything to do
with linux kernel itself or its redistribution.


Why do you feel RH is violating the GPL?

The onerous conditions requiring licensees to remove their propreitary
stuff before redistribution are needless and certainly against the
terms and spirit of the GPL.  I'll take Siva's word that the task is
not an easy one, and such terms/devices to curb redistribution are
plainly violative of the GPL and against the very  spirit of our
movement.

RH has made significant contributions to the free software movement,
and that makes it more difficult to understand the rationale behind
the RHLE practice: they contradict themselves here.
