Not that easy, though if "broadcasters" and NAB were a cohesive
organization, as is CEA and it's members, they could have a much greater
say. That is a very difficult challenge for such a diverse group and is
often used by the CEA folks to "divide and concur".
The vast majority of Program service providers, such as DBS and Cable and
the newer entrants, have end to end control of their product, which makes
those issues bugging broadcasters, the least of their worries. Not so for
broadcasters....
